GM’s Latin American office has sold a DC330FBSC converting line with hot stamp and screen printing modules to Vinograf. The new label printing company has been set up by Fernando Aravena, who is well known in the Latin-American labelling industry. His new venture focuses on producing premium labels for Chilean wines for export.
Two engineers from the GM headquarters were sent to Chile to support Jos Kabouw, who heads up the local office, with this installation. After two days installing the machine and training the staff, the converting line was up and running. GM reports that preliminary tests and first reactions from Vinograf have been overwhelmingly positive.
The DC330 features both flatbed screen printing with servo drive and flatbed hot stamping with 90 degrees turning foil tower. It is designed for production of digitally printed high quality wine and spirits labels, and offers a modular combination of hot foil stamping, flatbed screen, flexo printing and semi-rotary die-cutting.
