Ultimate Digital has won the HP Inkspiration Award 2017 for flexible packaging at this year’s EMEA edition of Dscoop.

The company received the award for the personalised KitKat campaign, produced for Nestlé, which combined variable digital print and with Ultimate’s Smartflow technology.

The award highlights the progress that Ultimate Digital has made, developing digital print for a range of flexible packaging formats. The business is fully accredited to produce digitally printed, food contact packaging, and the team are experts in the production of digitally printed, flexible packaging and the use of connected, digital technologies.

The high-profile campaign combined in-store marketing on standard KitKat packaging with social media promotion encouraging consumers to create their own personalised chocolate bar.
