A newly developed surface structure that ensures less adhesive build-up on the cutting line has been introduced by Kocher+Beck. Developed at its Technology Center, this is an improvement of the established non-stick coatings Gluex Plus and Gluex Ultra.
This result is longer intervals between cleaning thereby minimising machine stoppage time. ‘We know about the increasing price pressure our customers in the label industry are under. The improved non-stick coating allows our customers to improve their costs and further optimise their cutting results,’ said sales manager Martin Stierle.
The production processes have also been streamlined, reducing the production time of Gluex Ultra to match the 48 hours of Gluex Plus.
