To meet the changing needs of manufacturing, logistics, retail, and healthcare sectors Bixolon Europe has launched the XD7-20d Desktop, XD7-20d-H (Healthcare), and XD3-40d-H (Healthcare) models for the European market.

According to the company, these new models deliver enhanced durability, advanced connectivity and reliable performance to support greater traceability, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

The XD7-20d is a high-performance, 2-inch (60 mm) desktop label printer tailored for compact workspaces. Delivering print speeds of up to 8ips at resolutions of 203 or 300 dpi. The XD7-40d is equipped with 512MB of both SDRAM and Flash memory, while featuring adjustable TPH pressure and advanced auto-detection for consistent quality of output across various lighting and media types. With easy navigate via LED buttons or a 4.3-inch colour touch LCD, benefiting from versatile connectivity options including USB and USB Host as standard, plus Serial, Ethernet, WLAN, Bluetooth, or combined WLAN and Bluetooth configurations. Its modular slot-type interface and standardised gear train further streamline maintenance and simplify printer management, ensuring maximum uptime.

Engineered to exceed the rigorous standards of European medical facilities, the XD7-20d-H (2-inch/60 mm) and XD3-40d-H (4-inch/118 mm) Healthcare models combine proven performance with features specialised for clinical environments. Both printers are equipped with IEC 60601-1 compliant power supplies for safe operation in patient-facing spaces, as well as disinfectant-ready, antimicrobial casings and UV-resistant enclosures which are built to withstand aggressive sterilisation and cleaning protocols. These specialised printers are ideal for high-stakes applications including specimen labelling, pharmacy dispensing, asset management and patient ID wristbanding – helping facilities prioritise patient safety, maintain regulatory compliance and optimise daily workflows.
