US personalised digital gift packaging provider DigiWrap has implemented HP Site Flow intelligent automation to support growth in demand for customised, on-demand packaging. The company produces custom wrapping paper, tissue, and bags for businesses and consumers using HP Indigo digital print technology.
Founded more than a decade ago in Chicago, DigiWrap built its business around creative, personalised gift packaging. As demand for faster turnaround times and greater customisation increased, the company identified the need to scale production without compromising quality, reliability, or customer experience, particularly as hybrid and digitally enabled working models became more widespread.
To address this, DigiWrap integrated HP Site Flow, part of the HP PrintOS Intelligent Automation ecosystem, with its HP Indigo 200K digital press. The cloud-based platform automates the print workflow from order intake through to fulfilment, including job aggregation, scheduling, tracking, and shipping. HP Site Flow also connects e-commerce storefronts, brand portals, and MIS systems, providing real-time visibility and reducing manual processes.
Charlie Williams, co-founder of DigiWrap, said: “Everything had to change once we brought in our new press. You can’t unlock the full potential of digital print without efficiency, and for us, HP Site Flow was the key to success. It allowed us to automate repetitive tasks, track performance in real time, and take on work that would have been impossible before.”
Since adopting HP Site Flow, DigiWrap reports improved turnaround times and greater confidence in maintaining consistent output quality. The company said the platform has also supported new revenue opportunities, including generating $150,000 (£118,000) in sales within the first few weeks of onboarding a new client through the system.
The automation has enabled DigiWrap to take on more complex and higher-volume projects. In one instance, the company was able to onboard a major customer within days and complete delivery within weeks, a process it said would previously have taken several months.
DigiWrap said the use of HP Site Flow has strengthened its market position by combining creative capabilities with operational efficiency, with customers citing reliability and consistency as key factors in choosing the company.
Joan Perez Pericot, vice president and general manager, HP industrial print software & solutions, said: “DigiWrap is a perfect example of how automation fuels growth. By embracing HP Site Flow, DigiWrap has demonstrated what’s possible when print service providers move beyond manual processes to intelligent, connected workflows. It’s not just about printing faster, it’s about unlocking new business potential through smarter operations.”
