Kettering-based i-Sub has added the new Mimaki CFL-605RT flatbed cutter to its showroom, enabling real-time demonstrations of the system in conjunction with the company’s Digi-Foil digital foiling solution.
The CFL-605RT flatbed cutter is designed as an all-round cutting and plotting system for on-demand packaging development, signage, labels and decals, suitable for substrates including coated board, soft foam material, synthetic leather, vinyl and PET sheet. It also features a creasing and folding option and a pen tool for creating line drawings.

The system offers a number of options including a tangential cutting tool for PET and such media, a reciprocating cutting tool for thicker materials and an eccentric cutting tool for thin substrates like coated board or PVC, plus a creasing roller.
Its mark-sensor for accurate cutting, back side cut function for the best front finish, and vacuum and roll holder units to keep media in place, all work together to provide high quality, professional packaging.
Used with the UJF-6042 UV LED inkjet printer and Rasterlink software, the cutter offers a complete solution for original goods production.
