Kroschke Signs International, manufacturer of signs and technical labels, has purchased an HP Indigo WS6800 digital press to produce a wide variety of labelling products.
The new press will also help the company to respond to the specific needs of each individual customer.
‘As unique as each company is, so are its requirements. The new press is therefore a direct investment in the satisfaction of our customers,’ said Rolf Maaß, managing director. ‘HP has helped us to simplify our complex workflows, giving us great confidence, and we look forward to continuing and expanding on this successful partnership in the future.’
The Braunschweig-based company prints a wide range of signs and labelling products for the safety and regulatory markets, including inspection stickers and labels for hazardous substances. The company’s printing facilities serve their own products as well as those of external customers.
The Indigo WS6800 prints at speeds of up to 60 m/min on substrates with a maximum web width of 340 mm and a maximum thickness of 450 microns. It is designed for a wide range of substrates including self-adhesive labels, shrink sleeves, wrap-around labels, tube laminates or cartons. By default, the machine prints in four colour mode with HP IndiChrome technology, but six and seven colour printing is possible.
