Grafpol CEO Boguslaw Meszkes in front of the new TrojanTwo digital press
Polish print house Grafpol B.M. Meszkes has invested in a TrojanTwo digital label press from Trojanlabel to complement its flexo and offset printing presses.
The compact TrojanTwo runs at 18 m/min and up to 1600 x 1600 dpi on a wide assortment of media. The memjet-powered machine features inline print head maintenance, enabling both short and long runs and consistent high print quality.
CEO Bogusław Meszkes explained the latest investment, ‘We decided on the TrojanTwo press because of its reasonable price, high print quality and the advantages compared to the existing solutions in our print house, especially with regards to short runs and personalisation.’
Mr Meszkes continued, ‘The market is changing – digital printing is on the rise, customers are demanding high print quality and very short runs. I see the next three to five years being very important and successful for digital technology, as previous issues like high material costs, clogged nozzles etc. have been solved, and that is exactly why we have chosen to invest now.’
In order to keep up with current trends, Grafpol analysed the many digital solutions on the market, and ultimately decided that the TrojanTwo press offered them the most efficient transition to digital label production, without having to compromise quality or make large investments.
The press was sold through Trojanlabel’s Polish agent HKM. Commercial director Zbigniew Karapuda said, ‘The product is very good and in high demand. Digital printing meets the need for smaller circulations and increased label customisation, and for that purpose, the reasonably priced TrojanTwo is a great high quality solution.’
