The new Durst Delta WT 250 press will make its debut at the CCE show
The first commercial user of Durst’s Water Technology is Bauernfeind Print & Display in Obergrünburg, Austria. The company said that it has secured several deals with a global brand to print corrugated display packaging following the installation of the new Delta WT 250 press.
Thomas Bauernfeind, managing director, said, ‘In the past some markets have not been possible because of the odour in certain packaging and other display products using UV ink. But now a whole new world of opportunities has opened up. As one example, one of the world’s major drinks brands has been so impressed that they have started using display packaging products printed on our Delta WT 250 system.’
The new Delta WT 250 is the first multi-pass digital printing system based on Durst’s Water Technology. It prints on a range of coated boards for packaging and displays.
The press will be shown for the first time at the International Exhibition for Corrugated and Folding Carton Industry (CCE) in Munich later this month.
