RotoMetrics has announced more speakers for its fourth biennial open house event, which is due to be held on 3 and 4 July 2018 at its European Headquarters in Walsall, in the West Midlands.
Kevin Vyse, M&S senior packaging technologist & circular economy lead, will give a prsesantation entitled, ‘Why having a defined and active social, ethical and environmental policy is vital for the future of business,’ while Sanjay Patel, founding partner of the Packaging Collective, will talk about ‘Opening the eyes of brands, organisations and teams to a new and more human way of engaging their staff, unleashing their creativity in a purposeful way.’ Joanna Stephenson, the co-founder of Women In Packaging UK, will address the latest global trends and their impact on the label sector, debating social, economic and political change and what it means for today’s label business and the opportunities in the future.
Neil Lilly, sales and customer service director, said, ‘The event will host an array of presentations from print specialists whose experiences and knowledge will enhance the enjoyment for all of our participants.’
He continued, ‘As well as introducing new concepts and ideas to the print, label and packaging industries, the event will also be supported by major suppliers to this sector. Additionally three prestigious associations – BPIF, EFIA and FINAT – have expressed their pleasure in being partners at this forthcoming event.’
The event has secured 30 global suppliers, which will have representatives available on both days to facilitate discussions and give advice. In additions, food and beverages will be available, including the famous Hog Roast lunch.
Mr Lilly concluded, ‘By bringing together a variety of companies, engaged in all sectors, it will enable visitors to experience first-hand the exciting developments that are taking place within our industry.’
Keynote speaker Ranulph Fiennes, who is known as the world’s greatest living explorer, was announced at Labelexpo Europe last year. He will take to the stage on both days giving his view on the exploration theme.
