ERP/MIS software developer HiFlow Solutions has introduced an AI-enabled logistics management suite aimed at automating supplier delivery registration, bill of lading (BOL) processing, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows for labels and packaging producers.
“Logistics remains one of the most complex and time-intensive areas in packaging operations,” said Mariusz Sosnowski, CEO of HiFlow Solutions. “By extending AI automation across the entire Procure-to-Pay workflow – from purchase order processing and supplier deliveries to BOL validation and payment authorisation – we eliminate repetitive data handling and give manufacturers instant accuracy and full traceability. It’s about helping our customers move products, not paperwork.”
According to the company, the suite includes a new AI-driven BOL module that processes scanned, signed documents regardless of layout or structure. The system separates large document batches into individual BOLs, identifies key fields such as BOL numbers, and attaches each file to its corresponding shipping record in HiFlow’s ERP platform. Each BOL is linked to its related purchase order to maintain traceability across the full P2P cycle, from order creation and goods receipt to payment.
The company states that the automation is designed to speed documentation tasks while reducing manual work and the risk of error.
“Speed is the number one achievement of AI technology,” said Alfonso Hernandez, vice president of sales at HiFlow Solutions. “It transforms what was once a multi-hour manual process into seconds. AI can drive significant real-world impacts for packaging manufacturers and label converters – improving accuracy, accelerating logistics, and strengthening supplier collaboration.”
HiFlow’s Supplier Delivery Processing module uses artificial intelligence to automate registration of incoming goods within the Inventory module. Instead of requiring staff to manually enter each delivery, the system reads, validates, and imports data – such as manifests or advanced shipping notices (ASNs) – directly from email attachments. The company notes that this approach removes the need for one-to-one EDI integrations while offering near real-time insight into inbound logistics.
By accelerating delivery registration and reducing administrative work, the module is intended to support faster material availability, increase accuracy, and improve production readiness. It also works with any supplier able to send email-based shipping documents.
HiFlow says the expanded use of AI connects purchase order validation, supplier delivery registration, BOL confirmation, and invoice matching into a single automated workflow. With AI integrated into accounts payable, the system forms a closed-loop digital structure aimed at improving visibility and efficiency across supplier transactions.
The company positions these updates as part of a broader move toward AI-enabled ERP/MIS tools for packaging and label manufacturers, with the goal of advancing customers toward a Smart Factory environment.
“Our goal is to help customers operate faster, leaner, and smarter,” Mr Sosnowski added. “This is not the future of packaging – it’s happening now.”
