EPS Packaging US has achieved official certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), a globally recognised privacy program administered by the US Department of Commerce. The certification reinforces the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of data protection and privacy across its international operations.

The DPF certification provides a formal mechanism for the secure and compliant transfer of personal data between the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and the United States, ensuring that ePS meets stringent transatlantic data protection requirements.

“Achieving DPF certification is an important step in our broader security journey and reflects our dedication to safeguarding customer and employee data with the same rigour we apply to our technology,” said Scott Brown, chief information officer at ePS. “It strengthens the trust our customers and partners place in us and aligns with our mission to deliver secure, compliant, and future-ready solutions for the global packaging industry.”

The certification serves as a recognised assurance framework for ePS’s sales, Customer Success Management (CSM), and professional services teams, particularly during customer evaluations, RFP processes, and compliance assessments – all areas where data protection and privacy are critical decision factors.

EPS said the milestone marks the first in a series of initiatives to strengthen its global security and compliance framework. The company is also in the process of pursuing SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, which are expected to be completed within the next six months. These additional accreditations will further validate ePS’s ongoing investment in secure, scalable, and compliant business operations.
