Screen has appointed Xavier Pereira as its new national sales manager for France; a move aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in the French digital printing market.

Mr Pereira brings experience from both technical and commercial roles, having previously overseen sales operations in the automotive sector before transitioning to the printing industry as a reseller of printing equipment. His background includes a combination of engineering knowledge and practical business development, particularly in helping printing companies identify and implement technology solutions.

In his new role, Mr Pereira will be responsible for leading Screen’s sales activities in France, with a focus on building regional partnerships and supporting customers with tailored solutions.

Bui Burke, senior vice president sales at Screen Europe, noted that the appointment reflects the company’s focus on regional support: “We aim to deliver localised sales and service strategies in every market. Xavier brings not only industry knowledge, but a local presence and understanding of the French market, which is important for building strong relationships and long-term customer support.”

Mr Pereira joins Screen at a time when the French printing sector is seeing continued consolidation and increased caution around capital investments. He sees Screen’s in-house approach to product design, manufacturing, and support as a key differentiator for customers seeking dependable, long-term solutions.

“Many businesses today are looking for partners rather than just suppliers,” Mr Pereira said. “Screen’s level of integration – from development to support – provides a foundation of reliability that’s increasingly important in this market.”

He added that the company’s inkjet technology is well suited to the current needs of the French print industry, offering tools to modernise workflows and improve production efficiency. His priorities include increasing market awareness and expanding Screen’s customer base across France.
