The Screen Truepress Jet L350UV+

Cape Town’s Label Link has entered into digital label production for the first time by investing in a Screen UV inkjet label press and a Rotocon Ecoline RDF 340.

Occupying five units in an industrial park in Brackenfell, the wholesale label printer was established in 2003 and manufactures purely for resellers.

The Screen Truepress Jet L350UV+ is designed to bring ‘unrivalled levels of functionality and productivity to label production’. For richer reproduction of colours, Label Link also added the newly supported orange ink option, along with standard CMYK and white inks.

To complement the new inkjet press, the company installed a servo-driven Ecoline RDF 340 for digital label converting and finishing.

‘Our decision was primarily based on print quality, machine up-time and print speed,’ said manager Wiaan Stemmet. ‘Also very important, especially with our entry into digital label production, was the local support from Rotocon’s service technicians.’
