Labelexpo Americas marked a milestone for Konica Minolta, which announced that it had sold the 250th unit of the AccurioLabel 190 toner press. Total installations last year at the Europe edition of the show stood at 100.

The press was designed to target small-to-mid size label converters by offering affordable entry into digital. It prints on coated, uncoated and textured paper, and film, at speeds up to 18.9m/min in a resolution of 1200 dpi.

Toshitaka Uemura, general manager, industrial print business unit, professional print business headquarters, Konica Minolta Inc, commented, ‘This rapidly share expansion indicates that label converters regard Accuriolabel 190 as a solution to today’s key market challenges, small-to-medium print jobs in fast delivery. The highly flexible solution is allowing operations to deliver high quality results quickly, efficiently and profitably.’

He added, ‘We are delighted that the carefully selected combination of performance capabilities offered by the AccurioLabel 190 is clearly hitting the right note with label producers who want to be able to repeatedly deliver high quality and consistent results time and time again.’
